    Departure 12:00pm Puerto Montt-Llanquihue National Park-V. Calbuco Refuge. Today we will hike approximately 3 hours through Alerce forest to reach the refuge, rest, have dinner and sleep, and set off in the early morning of the following day to the summit.

    Calbuco Volcano Refuge Summit Attempt Return to Car

    4:00 am V. Calbuco Refuge summit - Car. It is a demanding but rewarding day as we attempt to reach the summit, including snow hiking and rock climbing, before returning to the car. (12 to 14 hours)
