Escape the beach for a thrilling full-day safari to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s oldest and one of its most iconic parks. Depart early from your coastal hotel (Mombasa, Diani, Watamu, or Malindi) and enjoy a scenic drive to the park. Enter through Bachuma Gate and begin your game drive across the vast savannahs and bushland. Spot red-dust elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and possibly leopards and cheetahs. Learn about the park’s wildlife and landscapes from your experienced guide. Stop for a buffet lunch at a lodge inside the park, where you might view animals near the waterhole.
