Arrival in Buenos Aires, reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Depending on the arrival time, afternoon free to rest or start discovering the city at your own pace. In the evening, we will live your first porteño experience in the renowned Michel Angelo restaurant, where we will enjoy an exquisite dinner accompanied by an authentic tango show, the dance that identifies Buenos Aires in the world. The tour begins in the northern part of the city, in Recoleta, with a photo stop at the Generic Floralis (10 minutes). We will continue to the Faculty of Law, the Pillar Church and the Recoleta Cemetery (15 minutes). Afterwards, we will head to the historic center. In the Plaza de Mayo we will appreciate from the outside the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Casa Rosada, the Pyramid of May and the Cabildo (20 minutes). The tour will continue in the traditional neighborhood of San Telmo, visiting the statue of Mafalda to take a picture of us, Lezama Park, the Russian Orthodox Church and the National Historical Museum, which we will observe from the vehicle. In the colorful neighborhood of La Boca we will stop at the Boca Juniors Stadium (10 minutes) and then enjoy Caminito (40 to 50 minutes), one of the most traditional and vibrant corners of the city. We will finish in Puerto Madero, the most modern and avant-garde neighborhood of Buenos Aires, before returning to the hotels.
Full Day Tour to Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay) Early departure by fast ferry to Colonia del Sacramento, a Uruguayan city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we will take a guided tour of its charming Historic Town: cobblestone streets, Plaza de Armas, Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament, Lighthouse, Puerta de la Ciudadela and the picturesque Calle de los Sigurs, reflecting its Portuguese and Spanish past. After the tour, free time to walk along the coastline, visit museums, buy crafts or relax in front of the river. In the afternoon, visit a boutique winery for an exclusive Wine Experience. Tour of vineyards and cava, followed by lunch on the estate with local dishes paired with house wines, including the celebrated Tannat. Return by ferry to Buenos Aires. A day of Uruguayan history, culture and flavors.
In the morning, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, known as “The End of the World”. Arrival at Ushuaia airport and transfer to the hotel. Depending on the arrival time, you will have the rest of the day free to rest, tour the city center, walk along the coast in front of the Beagle Canal, visit museums or simply enjoy the Patagonian setting. Morning – Navigation on the Beagle Channel Transfer to the tourist port of Ushuaia to embark on a cruise along the mythical Beagle Canal. During the tour we will enjoy unique views of the city from the sea and observe sea lions on the Isle of Wolves and birds on the Island of Birds. Then we will skirt the emblematic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, known as “the Lighthouse of the End of the World”. Noon – End of the World Train (Premium category including lunch) Return to land to board the End of the World Train on its Premium service, with three-step lunch and drinks. This historic train, which transported prisoners from the old prison, runs through forests, rivers and peatlands to the entrance of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Evening – Tierra del Fuego National Park Visit to the National Park, unique with maritime coasts. We will visit Bahía Ensenada, Lapataia Bay and Lake Roca (Acigami). Return to Ushuaia.
Tomorrow – Spa in Arakur We will start the day enjoying the exclusive facilities of the Arakur Resort & Spa, one of the most luxurious hotels in Ushuaia. You will have time to relax in its heated pools with panoramic views of the Beagle Canal and the Cordillera, as well as enjoy its wellness area and hydrotherapy circuits. Evening – Free time In the afternoon you will have free time to rest in the hotel, tour the center of Ushuaia, shop or simply enjoy the unique natural environment offered by the southernmost city in the world. Optional activity – Skiing in Cerro Castor If you want to, you can take advantage of the afternoon to take an optional ski trip to Cerro Castor, the southernmost winter sports center on the planet, renowned for the quality of its snow and the beauty of its slopes surrounded by forests. Tomorrow – Flight to El Calafate Transfer to Ushuaia airport to take the flight to El Calafate, gateway to the Patagonian glaciers. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Noon – Free afternoon Depending on the arrival time, they will have time to rest, tour the city, walk along the coast of Lago Argentino or visit the local craft fair. Midafternoon – Native Experience & Dinner at Walichu Cave In the afternoon we will start the Native Experience excursion, a cultural proposal that unites history, nature and gastronomy. In 4x4 vehicles we will travel along the coast of Lake Argentina listening to stories about the native peoples and explorers. We will visit the Walichu Caves, with replicas of Tehuelche cave paintings, and finish with a Patagonian dinner in a natural cave, set with regional music and views of the lake. Night in El Calafate.
Morning – Departure from El Calafate Transfer from the hotel to Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way we will enjoy panoramic views of the Patagonian steppe, Lake Argentina and the Andes Mountains. Arrival at Perito Moreno Glacier Access to the walkways in front of the glacier, with free time to tour their balconies and viewpoints. From there we will look at its impressive ice wall over 60 meters high and hopefully witness the detachment of huge blocks that rush into the lake with rumble. Navigation in front of the glacier It includes a sailing through the Rich Arm of Lake Argentina to get even closer to the south wall and admire from another perspective the grandiosity of Perito Moreno. Return to El Calafate. In the afternoon return to the hotel. Night in El Calafate.
Departure from El Calafate to Puerto Natales Early departure for the border Cancha Carrera – Cerro Castillo. On the way we will cross the Patagonian Argentinean steppe, with views of Lake Argentina and the Andes Mountains. Entrance to Torres del Paine National Park After the migration procedures, we will enter Torres del Paine National Park, one of the natural wonders of the world. We will make a panoramic circuit for its main attractions: Lake Sarmiento, Bitter Lake overlooking the Towers, Lake Nordenskjöld, Salto Grande and Lake Pehoé, with its iconic landscape in front of the Paine massif. Lunch box lunch We will enjoy a box lunch surrounded by nature and, hopefully, we will see fauna such as guanacos, foxes, condors or cougars. End of tour – Accommodation in Cerro Castillo Accommodation in cottage style lodge. Dinner included. Overnight in Cerro Castillo.
Breakfast at the hotel and free morning to prepare luggage and enjoy the last views of Patagonia. Before heading to the airport, we will make a short stop on the main avenue of Puerto Natales, where we will have time to take some souvenir photographs in front of its colorful houses, the fjord and its unique Patagonian atmosphere. Then we will continue to the airport to take the flight to Santiago, Chile, closing your stay in the southern region. Arrival in Santiago de Chile and transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon – Panoramic City Tour of Santiago Departure from the hotel to enjoy a tour of the main historical and cultural attractions of the Chilean capital. We will visit the Palacio de la Moneda, symbol of the government, and the Plaza de Armas, historic heart surrounded by the Metropolitan Cathedral and colonial buildings. Then we will go up to Cerro Santa Lucia, from where you can see beautiful views of the center, and continue through the neighborhoods Lastarria and Bellavista, known for their urban art, cafes and bohemian atmosphere. Later we will visit the modern area of Providencia and “Sanhattan”, financial district of the city, to culminate in the viewpoint SKY Costanera, the highest in Latin America. From its more than 300 meters we will enjoy a 360° view of Santiago and the Andes Mountains, toasting with a drink of choice to close the trip unforgettable. Return to the hotel at the expense of each traveler.
