Horseback riding in Patagonia

What makes this horse unique?

This cavalcade crosses little-visited valleys, where the authentic rhythm of rural Patagonia is still breathed. Far from the traditional tourist circuit, it offers a quieter and deeper experience of the territory.

One of the highlights of the tour is the viewpoint of Figueroa Lagoon, from where you get spectacular views of the valley, of mountains such as Cerro Castillo and Cerro Campana, and on clear days, even of the Cuernos del Paine. In addition, this sector is an important nesting area for condors, so there is the possibility of seeing them in mid-air.

In short, this ride is unique because it shows a less touristy, more real Patagonia, from the back of a horse and in the company of those who inhabit it every day.

What to expect

Just 40 minutes from Puerto Natales, this horseback ride invites you to tour typical Patagonian landscapes, guided by local gauchos who share their experience and bond with horses. Tradition deeply rooted in this earth.

The tour crosses valleys covered with lengas and ñirres, with possibilities to see condors, eagles and other native fauna. On the highest part of the route, from the viewpoint of Laguna Figueroa, it is possible to contemplate Cerro Castillo, Cerro Campana and, on clear days, even the Cuernos del Paine. In addition, this place coincides with a condor nesting area, so, hopefully, they can be observed in mid-flight.

To live Patagonia is also to know it on horseback. This experience not only offers a unique contact with nature, but also with the people who have made the horse a fundamental part of their life.

If you come to Patagonia, approaching the horse is approaching the heart of the territory.
