You will be met by the guide in the morning in Muscat, and you will head up to Ash Sharqiyah. The first stop is Ibra, an old town in Al Munisifeh. This site is mostly off the tourist path. Then you will be visiting Wadi Bani Khalid. Then you will visit the Wahiba Sands, and the desert is the highlight of any trip to Oman. You will also enjoy one of the exciting activities called dune bashing and sunset watching, and then you will be a guest at the Sands Dream Tourism Camp for an amazing overnight stay, enjoying dinner and sitting around the campfire, watching the stars. The next destination will be Sur town. There are some great things to do in Sur, such as visiting the lighthouse, the traditional Omani ship (Fatah Al Khair), the dhow yard, the corniche, the beach, and the fish market. After sightseeing in Sur, you will head driving on the road by the coast, passing White Beach and Bimah Sinkhole, and you will drive back to Muscat.

    Ibra

    Departure from Muscat in the morning with the driver (English-speaking guide) up to Ash Sharqiyah (23 street). Stop in Ibra old town (Al Munisifeh) Discover the Ibra Old Town in the ruins of (Al Munisifeh) Oman. This site, mostly off the touristic path, shows visitors a glimpse at a wealthy period during which the town's rich businessmen built magnificent mudbrick mansions. Tourists normally stop at (Al Munisifeh) which has more decor details left and impressive structures still standing. It was slowly abandoned as people moved to Ibra. Some people still live there. What is surprising is how current Omanis just built next to the ruins, creating a mix of modern buildings with walls and rest of doors or arches.

    Wadi Bani Khalid

    After visiting (Al Munisifeh) you will continue driving to (Wadi Bani Khalid), in Oman is one of the most famous wadis in the Sultanate of Oman. A short walk takes you to large emerald pools, a narrow zigzagging canyon filled with giant white boulders, and the Muqal cave. Hiking in (Wadi Bani Khalid) - The short hike (10 minutes) takes you between the white cliffs along the turquoise water flowing in the opposite direction. Be careful, the rocks tend to be slippery. The white rocks carved by the water are stunning and oh-so photogenic with the color of the water against it!

    After (Wadi Bani Khalid), the driver will take you to (Wahiba Sands) desert, (Wahiba sands) desert is the highlight of any trip to Oman. The impressive golden sand dunes offer a unique experience, especially at sunrise and sunset.     Wadi Shab, Sur, and back to Muscat

    Wadi Shab

    Departure from Sands Dream Tourism Camp and driving up to Wadi Shab. Wadi Shab Oman is one of the most popular gorges in the Sultanate. A deep canyon, emerald water, and a waterfall in a cave. The experience of hiking and swimming is unforgettable. Wadi Shab Boat Ride to start hiking you will have to cross the river on a small boat. There is no other way, the river is deep and wide. The ride takes 3 minutes for 1 Real return per person (paid in cash). Pack your camera as getting in and out of the boat is not so easy. You start late, make sure to ask when the last boat is back! Beginning of the hike - Easy the beginning of the hike is easy with flat large areas and paths. In this section you can find small farms and their irrigation systems, creating a small oasis. In the morning it is in the shade which makes the walk bearable. The advantage of being in a wadi is you can't get lost. The towering sandstone cliffs prevent you from wandering off the path.
