In this canning factory, you will learn about the innovative process of mixing fish and local products in unique and original mixes. The visit will go through all sectors from the part where the raw material is worked by hand and the head is removed from the fish, until the final product. The best is saved for the end: a tasting of the tidbits.

Then, you will visit the charming village of Ferragudo with the fishermen working on the nets by the river, and a beautiful viewpoint to the Arade river.

The tour continues in the neighbour city of Portimão, in the other side of the river, for a visit to the exhibition on the canning industry at the Portimão Museum, which was actually built in an old canning factory, next to the dock where the fish was unloaded.
