Normally, wine tastings focus on the palate, but everything changes when this journey through the world of wines is undertaken by a perfumer. Also because there are many inconsistencies and fallacies commonly propagated, in olfactory terms, in the description of a wine. It seems to be time to deconstruct some myths about aromas in the world of oenology. And perhaps that is why, in Europe, perfumers are increasingly being used to innovate in the wine tasting sector. Come and enjoy a memorable wine tasting!

Meeting point

Go to the famous Largo do Calvário, in Alcântara. The studio is located on a parallel street above the Largo. The building door may be closed. Just push, take the elevator to 4F and be dazzled by the view of the 25 de Abril Bridge!

What to expect

The languages of perfumes and wines have much in common: aromas, notes, stages, maturation. And when it's a perfumer analyzing a wine, several curiosities are revealed. The sensorial journey will be the responsibility of perfumer Cláudia Camacho. Olfactively, we will travel through white, rosé and red wines. In the end, we will pair the wines with snacks. Come without perfume and with those noses well refined!
