    Upon your arrival, your driver will be waiting either at the airport or your hotel in Zanzibar, as well as at the port if necessary. From there, you'll head straight to Nyere National Park, previously known as Selous Game Reserve. Arriving around lunchtime or late afternoon, you'll enjoy a scenic boat safari along the river until sunset, spotting hippos and crocodiles. Later, you'll return to Selous Mapumziko Lodge for dinner and spend the night.

    Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park, Previously Known as Selous After breakfast at the lodge, you will head out on safari right away with your lunch packed. With a land area of 54,600 square kilometers, Selous Game Reserve (also known as Nyerere National Park) is the largest in Africa. Elephants, lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, bushbucks, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, and greater kudus are among the animals that can be seen there. The game drive will continue outside the park as you head back to Dar es Salaam after lunch on a nice picnic with a view of the lake with hippos and crocodiles.
