You will be picked up from your Dar es Salaam hotel or airport on the first day of your safari, and you will head to the well-known Nyerere National Park, formerly known as the Selous Game Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dar es Salaam is not too far away. When you get to your resort in the late afternoon, you will eat lunch. After choosing between a banda or a tented accommodation at the resort after dusk, head out on a boat safari in the late evening on the Rufiji River. Selous Mapumziko Lodge will be the location of dinner and overnight.
Enjoy your amazing game drive experience and go away from the crowds of the northern safari zone to discover the best wildlife safari site. The largest national park in Africa, the Nyerere National Park (Selous), appears to be larger than Switzerland. Its abundance of wild creatures and variety of bird species will astound you. In addition to lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, hippos, impala, hartebeests, pythons, and elands, this area is home to the rarest wild dogs in the world—a sight that is only achievable for the extremely fortunate. In contrast to Tanzania's northern regions, where domesticated animals and birds are more tranquil, the animals in this region are more jittery.
Wake up in the morning have breakfast you, will head to the bush walking safari, there you will find a bushman who will guide you for the walking tour in the bush and get an experience about animals footprints, medicine trees, monkeys, the life style of the bush people and how to survive in the bush. After the bush walking we start our journey heading to Morogoro and on the way you will be able to see Uluguru mountains and beautiful landscape, and have a city tour in Morogoro which it’s a famous agricultural city in Tanzania. Your Night will be spent at Morogoro hotel allocated near Uluguru mountains
Check out and continue your safari to Mikumi National Park after breakfast at the hotel.You must visit the Mikumi and Selous Game Reserves, which together comprise a unique habitat. As soon as you arrive to Mikumi National Park, begin your first game drive and continue until later in the afternoon when you'll be treated to a picnic lunch. Mikumi's terrain is frequently compared to the Serengeti. It is composed of a savannah terrain featuring tamarinds, baobabs, and acacia. The infrastructure in Mikumi National Park is somewhat underdeveloped, but that's what makes the park even better and more special because it's allowed the wilderness to remain unspoiled and natural for a long time. Following breakfast, we will have a tour of a Maasai village. Later in the afternoon, we will travel within Mikumi National Park to see wildlife before returning to Dar es Salaam.
