The underwater realm is incredibly intriguing and vibrant. While snorkelling is a terrific way to view the beauty of marine life from the surface, scuba diving—especially scuba diving in Hurghada—is a better method to get a closer look at this fascinating world. Through theory sessions, training in confined water, and practise sessions in open water, you will master the foundations of scuba diving, including diving equipment and skills, throughout this course. Following completion, you will be permitted to dive up to a maximum depth of 18 metres anywhere in the globe!

What to expect

Hurghada open water diving instruction

The first step to become a diver is to complete the Open Water Diver (OWD) course. With diving in Hurghada, the programme can be completed in three days. On the first day, you'll watch a DVD, go over some theory and practise diving in shallow water. On the remaining days, you'll board a boat for a daily excursion.

Starting the first day from the boat with an introductory dive is another option for OWD. The DVD can be watched at your hotel during a quiet evening or while travelling by boat (think about bringing your computer). The following days, you will also be on the boat to complete your OWD training.
You will receive the necessary theory book from our Scuba Diving Centre Hurghada after paying for it on the first day of your OWD training. The Open Water Diving Course with us, diving Hurghada, lasts three days and comprises five to six dives.
