This historic walking tour starts at King Vakhtang Gorgasali monument the founder of Tbilisi. While there you will also visit the 13th century Metekhi church.
The remains of one of the oldest bathhouses in the Caucasus. Built in the 5th century this archaeological site in Tbilisi is a must see.
After walking along a beautiful pathway that makes its way near the bathhouse district is the Leghvatkhevi waterfall.
Built in the 4th century this 1600 year old fortress sits on a hill that allows incredible views of Tbilisi and the entire surrounding area

After a scenic drive in the Northern part of Georgia this historic castle sites in the shadows of the Caucasus Mountains. With a archaeologist as a guide you'll get to learn the history of this place while enjoying an incredible view.
While driving along the old military road to Stepantsminda we will stop by the Gudauri look out point where you will be treated to a view of the surrounding valleys and the Friendship monument.
The town of Stepantsminda is a special place in the Caucasus with beautiful scenery all around. Here you will get to breath in the culture of the Khevi province and grab lunch at one of the local restaurants that serve local cuisine.
No visit to Georgia could be complete without visiting the Gergeti Trinity Church. This historic Church sits at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains and is one of the most iconic sites in Georgia. The view here is breathtaking. We will take 4x4 vehicles to reach this amazing place.
We will make our way back to Tbilisi where you will be dropped off at hotel
On our way to the Adjara region. We will stop by a remarkable natural wonder in the Prometheus Caves. Here you will get to wonder around a giant cave system that is 11 km long (1060 m is available to visit)
We will arrive in Machakhela National Park around 6 pm.
Our guide will meet you at the guest lodge and take you on a tour to Gvara fortress that over looks the Chorokhi river and provides an incredible view of the surrounding valleys.
After touring Gvara fortress you will be taken around the Machakhela area to visit places that don't always show up on a map, Medieval Arch bridge (with optional ziplining provided), David's Castle, ancient wineries, and optional guided hikes to waterfalls. You will get to truly experience authentic Machakhela culture
At the end of the day of experiencing local culture, food and drink you will be treated to wine and cheese tasting from local made Machakhela wine and cheese.
Guided by an archaeologist that works on site, you will get to enjoy a gem of a site in Gonio Fortress. Originally built by the Romans this fortress with well preserved walls was utilized by several different empires over the centuries giving it layers of history.
From Gonio Fortress we will head to the hills above Gonio to the Cross on the hill and enjoy an incredible view of the surrounding area including the Black Sea.
You will arrive in Batumi on the Black Sea. You will have free time where you can enjoy the city, shop, have lunch, visit the beach or walk along the board walk.
Guided by an archaeologist you will get to experience this very historical fortified town built in the 6th century by the Byzantine Empire. With the Black Sea in the background this site became a regular battle ground between the Persian and Byzantine empires in the 6th century.
After touring Petra Fortress you will get entrance the the beautiful Batumi Botanical Gardens. From here you have the option of swimming at a secluded beach on the Black Sea
On our way back to Tbilisi we will stop by this amazing monastery placed on top of a rock pillar. We will also stop here for lunch.
We will arrive at Tbilisi where the tour will end around 6pm
