Please inform us about the hotel you are staying at. We will inform you about the exact pick up time and place at least 48 hours before the activity start time.
Pick-up from your hotel in South Bali, Ubud, or the Candidasa area and transfer to Padangbai. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome at Livingseas before taking a short boat ride to the coral pontoon, a purpose-built floating platform anchored above Bali’s largest coral reef restoration site. Here, you’ll be introduced to the fascinating world of coral reefs and marine conservation. Learn how coral restoration works and attach coral fragments to specially designed metal structures known as “reef stars,” creating your very own piece of reef to support ocean regeneration. Afterwards, put on your snorkeling gear and slip into the clear waters. While the divers carefully install the reef stars on the seabed, you’ll explore the vibrant reef below and observe marine life thriving among the newly restored corals. Return by boat to shore and enjoy lunch at Wholesome Hub. In the early afternoon (around 1:30 pm), transfer to Candidasa and check in at your hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, you visit Tenganan Village, one of Bali’s oldest traditional settlements. Here, you will discover the unique culture of the Bali Aga the island’s original inhabitants, who are known for preserving their ancient customs, rituals, and way of life. For centuries, Tenganan remained largely closed to the outside world, allowing the community to maintain the traditions and beliefs of pre-Hindu Balinese society. The houses are arranged in symmetrical rows along a central pathway, creating a harmonious and orderly layout. In the heart of the village stand shared communal buildings reflecting the strong sense of community that defines Bali Aga life. During your visit, you will gain insight into their distinctive architecture, social structure, and time-honored traditions that continue to shape daily life. At the end of the visit, transfer back to your hotel in South Bali or the Ubud area, or continue to DPS Airport for your return flight.
