The place is well-known for a mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season (June-October). During this time, 250,000 animals enter the park to the Tarangire River, the main source of fresh water in Tarangire-Manyara ecosystem (Masai steppe). You will get a chance to see all different kind of birds since the park has almost 500 species of birds.

    Serengeti National Park

Your day will begin after an early breakfast at about 6am. The journey will take you from Tarangire National park to Ngorongoro en route to Serengeti National Park. You will arrive at Serengeti in the afternoon, where we will stop for the lunch break and start the game drive. The park is famous for its endless plains with the grassland stretching out as far as the eye can see, eventually merging with the sky at the horizon. The view is absolutely breathtaking. With an overall land area of 14,763 square kilometers, it puts our notion about distance to shame. The Serengeti houses the glorious “Big 5” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard). We will do your best to see as many as possible.

The park ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. This legendary Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti - known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to the vegetation in the area, attracting many wildlife species well representative of the Serengeti. In Seronera, one must really look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. In addition, of great interest are the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite located in the sea of grass. They provide ample shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. The eventful day comes to an end with a delicious dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.
