Our full-day itinerary will cover the three main valleys of the High Atlas; Ourika, a popular river valley where travelers hike the trail & its small waterfalls. Asni & Tahenaout with their picturesque scenery of olive groves, terraced fields & adobe villages reflecting the region's agricultural wealth. Then the breathtaking mountain roads to Moulay Brahim, the sacred "mountain bird's sanctuary"
After cross the Kik Plateau to Lalla Takerkouste Lake. Depending on the day there are also colorful weekly rural markets to visit with a unique atmosphere.

Finish at our nomad base camp in the trendy Agafay Desert with a fun guided Quad & Camel ride.
Please specify your hotel/riad in advance to organize meeting with your drivers. Pick-up only possible within Marrakech city limits or nearby (Palmeraie, Gueliz, Hivernage). For those staying in riads/hotels in the old city which are not accessible by car a practical meeting point will be provided the day before the tour. Ideal meeting points if your accommodation is located far from city limits are the Koutoubia Mosque parking and/or Gueliz Post Office, both are easily accessible by car/taxi/public transportation. Please feel free to reach out to adapt if necessary.

Drive along a picturesque scenery of olive groves, terraced fields, and adobe villages reflecting the region's agricultural traditions to Tahanaout which is surrounded by the Atlas Mountains.
Depending on the day you book there are also weekly traditional rural markets possible to visit. With a unique colorful atmosphere, these souks are where the rural folk come to sell & buy livestock, fresh produce as well any other products they need or manufacture (Ourika Market on Mondays, Tahanaout on Tuesdays, Aghbalou Market on Thursdays and Asni on Saturday) These are so much more authentic than the Marrakech bazaars with great deals on local handicrafts.
This holy village perched on a mountain cliff was named after a 17th century Sufi saint nicknamed the "Tayr Al Jabal" or bird of the mountains.
