Ben Macdui is the 2nd tallest mountain in the UK and makes for a fantastic journey across the artic-like Cairngorm plateau.

Our experienced mountain leaders will guide you along a fantastic route from the Cairngorm ski centre. You will be able to see the impressive northern corries from above and below, follow the south-west edge of the Loch Avon basin and even view a plane wreckage, all this on the way to the apparently haunted Ben Macdui summit.

Whether you are interested in sharing some local folklore, learning about our unique mountain flora, or you just want to bag the summit; the Ben Macdui guided hike certainly has plenty to offer.

    Cairngorms National Park

This hike takes us into the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, the home to a total of 55 Munros and 4 of the 5 tallest mountains within the UK. We love our home and believe it has so much to offer. 100s of unique lochs and lochans, miles of ancient caledonian pine forest and over 25% of the country's rare and endangered animal, insect and plant species. It truly is magical. But this magic needs to be protected and therefore we encourage people to discover this unique national park with us in a sustainable and responsible way.
