This North Creek mangrove tour is unique because it blends history, ecology, and innovation into one experience:
• Clear-bottom boat view – Guests see marine life, coral, and mangrove roots from a whole new perspective without getting wet.
• Wildlife diversity – Spot herons, egrets, osprey, fish, turtles, and other species in their natural habitat.
• Historic dredger crane – A rare chance to see the machine that carved the canal decades ago, connecting the area’s past to its present.
• Exclusive new product – It’s the first tour of its kind in Grand Turk’s North Creek, making it a fresh and exciting option for visitors.
• Small, intimate groups – Allows for a personalized experience with more opportunities for photos and interaction with the guide.
Guests will meet at our Aquatic Escapes TCI tent located at Local Village in Grand Turk. From here, our friendly team will transport up to four guests at a time to the glass bottom boat for the start of the tour. Majority of our cruise will be along the coast of this national park showcasing various historic buildings from the islands salt industry and is even the landing place of Christopher Colombia during his expedition to the New world in 1492 . The coastline also hosts a number of secluded beaches including a beach featuring an abandoned mansion once owned by the countries past prime ministers.
The Grand Turk Lighthouse, built in 1852, stands on the island’s northern tip overlooking North Creek and the Atlantic Ocean. This historic landmark once guided ships away from treacherous reefs and today offers scenic views, walking trails, and a glimpse into Turks and Caicos maritime history.
