    Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque has been named to honour the late president, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The mosque is large enough to accommodate over 40,000 worshippers, while the main prayer hall can hold over 7,000. There are two smaller prayer halls, each with a capacity of 1,500, one of which is the women's prayer hall.
