Your first stop will be at the beautiful Japanese Peace Pagoda. This magnificent structure is a symbol of peace and harmony and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Next, it's time to get on board for a boat ride at the largest natural lake in Sri Lanka: Koggala Lake. During your boat ride, you'll get to enjoy the the wildlife that surrounds the lake, including colorful birds, playful monkeys and even crocodiles!
After lunch, you'll visit two incredible temples: The Weherahena Poorwarama Temple, a must-visit for anyone who loves art and architecture. Secondly, we'll take you to the Wewurukannala Raja Maha Viharaya temple, where you’ll be able to see the world's tallest standing Buddha statue that's over 160ft high!

Located a few kilometres from the city of Galle, the Japanese Peace Pagoda is a unique shrine that guarantees peace and solitude to anyone who visits. Built by the Japanese Nipponzan-Myōhōji order in 2005, it was made as a symbol to promote peace in the island. A short hike to the summit of the Rumassala Hill and you’ll find yourself in awe of the pristine pagoda. Koggala Lake is one of the biggest natural lakes in Sri Lanka. A number of islands are scattered in the lake among which the Temple Island, Modol Doova, Bird Island and the Cinnamon island.
