We arrive at Wilsons Promontory and begin our first hike of the day, a scenic coastal walk from Tidal River to Pillar Point. Following the river’s edge, the track winds through beautiful bushland before opening up to panoramic 360° views over the bays and beaches of the Prom.
After the dunes, we take a short drive to the general store for lunch before our main hike for the day, Mt Oberon. We embark on a 7.8 km return hike to the famous Mt Oberon's summit to soak up the best coastal views in Victoria.
Our next stop is one of our favourites, Squeaky Beach. Here you can wander on the incredibly white rounded grains of quartz which make a squeaking sound giving this popular local beach its name.
Finally, we make one final stop to see our furry native friends, including Wombats, Emus, Kangaroos and Wallabies going about their daily business, a beautiful way to end the day.
