    Our Sahara desert tours start for Marrakech

    Tizi n Tichka

    Your journey begins at 8:00 AM, departing Marrakech and heading into the stunning High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, enjoy stops to take in the scenic beauty of valleys and traditional Berber villages. Cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m), offering breathtaking panoramic views, and descend into the Telouet Valley to visit the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a marvel of Moroccan architecture. After lunch and exploring the kasbah, continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa.” From there, drive through the enchanting Rose Valley, known for its fragrant rose fields. Visit one of the women’s cooperatives specializing in natural rose products, where you can learn about the traditional production methods and shop for unique handmade items. Finally, proceed to the serene Dades Valley, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and rock formations. Spend the night in a charming guesthouse, enjoying local hospitality and a delicious dinner.

    Drive long side of Jbel Sgharou and Sahara Desert

    After breakfast, visit the awe-inspiring Todgha Gorge, where towering cliffs create a dramatic natural setting perfect for exploration and photos. Continue to Tinjdad for lunch, and then drive through Melaab, where you can stop for 15 minutes to pick up a shash (traditional desert scarf) if you’d like to dress like a local. The journey continues to Erfoud, where you’ll visit a fossil workshop to learn about Morocco’s rich geological heritage. Finally, arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Embark on a magical camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starry sky, followed by lively music around the campfire. Spend the night in a comfortable tent, surrounded by the serene beauty of the desert.
