We will pick you up directly from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Please provide the exact name and address of your accommodation when booking. For riads located in the Medina, we will meet you at the closest point accessible by car. Your guide will contact you the day before your departure to confirm the exact time and location of the pickup.
Day 1: Marrakech – Amizmiz – Ait Irghit Village Your private Atlas adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech and a scenic drive to Amizmiz, where you’ll meet your local guide and mule team. After a traditional mint tea, your trek starts, with mules carrying your luggage so you can walk comfortably through beautiful mountain landscapes. After around two hours, arrive at the village of Amezi for a homemade lunch in a welcoming Berber family home. Following a relaxing break, continue hiking for about 1 hour and 40 minutes to the peaceful village of Ait Irghit. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome with tea before taking a short walk to explore the village and meet locals. Return at sunset for a traditional dinner, freshly baked bread, and an overnight stay in a cozy Berber home.
Day 2: Ait Irghit – Anougal Valley – Infag Wake up to fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast with traditional bread baked that morning. Around 9:00 AM, begin your hike through beautiful scenic landscapes and fragrant pine forests. After approximately three hours, descend into the stunning Anougal Valley. Arrive at the first village, Ait Hamed, where you’ll stop for a homemade lunch with a welcoming Berber family. After some rest, continue hiking for about one and a half hours up the valley toward the charming village of Infag, surrounded by lush walnut trees and breathtaking mountain views. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed with tea by your host family. Later, enjoy a relaxing walk through the village to discover local life before returning for a traditional dinner and overnight stay in a family guesthouse.
Day 3: Imzayn – Imi Ourmer – Tizka (2,000m) Today’s trek follows a scenic route through valleys and cultivated fields toward the village of Imi Ourmer — one of the true hidden gems of Morocco. Along the way, enjoy views of traditional stone houses and farmers working their land. In Imi Ourmer, you’ll be welcomed into a Berber family home for a delicious homemade lunch and time to relax. In the afternoon, continue hiking gently uphill beneath walnut trees as you make your way to Tizka, the last village in the valley at around 2,000 meters altitude — another hidden treasure of the Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy mint tea before a short walk to explore this peaceful and authentic place. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse or tent, surrounded by the quiet beauty of these hidden Moroccan gems.
Day 4: Tizka – Tizi N’Oudad Pass – Tnirt After breakfast, begin hiking down the valley before joining an ancient mountain trail that climbs steadily toward the Tizi N’Oudad Pass (approximately 1,900 meters). The ascent takes you through beautiful oak forests and rugged mountain paths, offering spectacular panoramic views along the way. At the top, enjoy a short break to admire the scenery before descending into the peaceful valley of Tnirt. Upon arrival, a well-deserved lunch will be served. In the afternoon, check in at a local auberge and relax. Later, enjoy a gentle walk around the village to discover its quiet charm and daily mountain life. Dinner and overnight stay in Tnirt.
Day 5: Tnirt – Imin Tala – Return to Marrakech After breakfast, pack your belongings and begin your final hike from the Tnirt Valley toward the village of Imin Tala. The trail leads back toward the beautiful Anougal Valley, this time crossing an easier mountain pass while enjoying the last panoramic views of the Atlas landscapes. Along the way, take in the peaceful scenery, traditional villages, and the authentic rhythm of mountain life. Upon arrival in Imin Tala, enjoy a final homemade lunch and say goodbye to your guide and mule team. Afterward, meet your vehicle for the transfer back to Marrakech, bringing your unforgettable trek to an end — filled with beautiful memories of the real and authentic Morocco.
