We return to the city of Salta through the last of the Quebrada de Humahuaca and its landscapes. We have technical stops along the way if you want to go to the bathroom, buy something to eat or drink.
We leave Salta through the Lerma Valley to the south of the province until we reach the town of El Carril to turn west and begin to head towards the Quebrada del Escoipe and the first dream landscapes. We have technical stops along the way so passengers can go to the bathroom or buy a snack.

We arrive at noon in the colonial town of Cachi and we will have 2 hours free to have lunch and tour this unique town in northern Argentina. Its cobblestone streets with their adobe houses and cobblestones allow us to witness a place abandoned in time, which maintains its primary essence. In these 2 free hours you can walk these 10 blocks by 10 blocks that the town offers and taste its local gastronomic variety. Then we meet again with the guide to start the return to Salta.

We will leave from the city of Salta, exiting through the central access of the city, taking the RN 9 and then entering the municipality of General Güemes, by the RN 34. Afterwards we enter the province of Jujuy, where we will have the opportunity to know a little bit of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, passing through picturesque towns such as Yala, Volcano (technical stop) and Purmamarca where we will find the majestic Cerro de los 7 Colores.

First stop in the village of Purmamarca to have a panoramic photo of the route, in front of the village, as the position of the sun in the morning radically changes its colors. At this first stop we will be approximately 20 minutes.
We enter the incredible Lipan Hill, where we will take 4,170 meters above sea level and can appreciate its spectacular flora and fauna. It is a winding high mountain road, majestic with its green and brown colors showing us the beautiful landscapes of the puna.
We arrive at the third largest salt flat in Latin America where we will be between 45 minutes to 1 hour free, to be able to tour the salt pools, sculptures, salt restaurant and take amazing photos in this huge salt flat in northern Argentina. (Locals are paid $4000 Argentine pesos approx.)
We return to Purmamarca and you can enjoy 2 hours free to tour the beautiful village and have lunch. Impressive hill of 7 colors nestled in the heart of the village with its narrow and cobbled streets and houses of adobe and mud.
We return to the city of Salta through the last of the Quebrada de Humahuaca and its landscapes. We have technical stops along the way if you want to go to the bathroom, buy something to eat or drink.
