Discover the only trip that arrives at 7 : 30h in Montserrat and be a lot of time without any other tourists. We will set off from Barcelona by van for 7 persons from 6 : 15h till 6 : 35h.
From middle september till middle february we will see the sunrise.
First we will visit the Abbey and the Black Madonna and we won't be faced with long lines.
After that, you'll have two options:
FIRST : Around 8 : 30h, we will start a hiking tour till the top of one peak with wonderful views. We will arrive around at 10h.
The maximum elevation gain and loss will do is 450m / 1476ft, with 6.6km / 4.10 miles.
SECOND : You can hike wherever you want but by yourself. You can take the funicular (cable car under the cabin) from 9:30h. I will tell you anyway wich hiking routes i recommend you to do.
At 12 : 15h you will take the cable car or the zipper train (you can choose) to the base of the mountain and then we'll take the van to arrive back to Barcelona before 13 : 30h

1Barcelona
We will leave Barcelona at 6:45 am to arrive in Montserrat at 7:30 am. Pick-up will be between 6:25am and 6:45am from your hotel if you are located in the Eixample and other neighbourhoods, except, for example, Gothic, Raval, Born, etc.

2Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey
At 8 am we will visit the Abbey and see the Black Madonna without queuing.
30 minutes • Admission ticket included -
3Montserrat Mountains
At 8:30h we will do a hiking route with a maximum accumulated gradient of 450m / 1476 feet, and a route of 6.6km / 4.10 miles. At 11:30 am we will arrive again at the Monastery area. There will be free time until 12: 15h. If you don’t want to do the long route, you will have free time to do the route of your choice. I'll tell you different walking options.

4Cremallera de Montserrat
At 12:15h we will go down to the base of the mountain with the Montserrat zipper, originally from 1892. The tour takes 15 minutes and we will have stunning views. If you prefer, you can go down with the cable car. You pick!

5Aeri de Montserrat
At 12:15 you can go down to the base of the mountain with the Montserrat cable car, which has been operating since 1930. If you prefer, you can go down with the zipper train. You decide which transport you want to go down to the base of the mountain!

6Barcelona
At 12:30h we will return with the van to arrive in Barcelona at 13:30h.
