We highly recommend for our guests to meet with your guide after 30/40 minutes your ship arrived to port to beat crowds and hot weather in the afternoon, this will be advantage for our guest to have better timing and also to have better tour in Ephesus before crowds start. Some advantages of our Private tours; gain time at port , you don’t need to wait group bus tours and also at Ephesus gate you will wait for line and rest of group you need to wait because they will use wc, for big bus tours this is waste of time. Private group you will have independent Schedule and you don’t need to wait for others, with your Professional local guide you will decide where to stop for best photo and listening information about Ephesus ancient city. In our private tours you do not definitely waste time or do not wait for a long time to get tickets or visit ruins or museums.

    The Temple of Artemis

The Temple of Artemis or Artemision also known as the Temple of Diana, was a Greek temple dedicated to an ancient, localised form of the goddess Artemis (equated with the Roman goddess Diana). It was located in Ephesus (near the modern town of Selçuk in present-day Turkey). By AD 401 it is believed it had been ruined or destroyed.[1] Only foundations and fragments of the last temple remain at the site. The earliest version of the temple (a Bronze Age temenos) antedated the Ionic immigration by many years. Callimachus, in his Hymn to Artemis, attributed it to the Amazons. In the 7th century BC, it was destroyed by a flood. Its reconstruction, in more grandiose form, began around 550 BC, under Chersiphron, the Cretan architect, and his son Metagenes. The project was funded by Croesus of Lydia, and took 10 years to complete. This version of the temple was destroyed in 356 BC by an arsonist, commonly thought to have been a madman named Herostratus.

Kuşadası's small, picturesque Byzantine fortress stands on the causeway-connected Güvercin Adası (Pigeon Island) and has recently been renovated. It's now part of a popular and well-kept public park. A path winds around the island past excellent information boards and a small lighthouse, providing fine views of Kuşadası. Inside the fortress there's a skeleton of a 14.5m fin whale and a few models of sailing boats.
