Your itinerary begins in the late afternoon with an exciting tour on bicycles through the lush countryside. This provides an opportunity to enjoy the natural environment and view historical sites including many local Catholic churches and Buddhist temples.
The next day, proceed to the Negombo city tour. Located in 12 km away from Waikkal. Negombo is a coastal city located in the western part of Sri Lanka, not far from the capital city of Colombo and the Bandaranaike International Airport. It is a popular tourist destination known for its beautiful beaches, historic sites, and vibrant local culture.
Late afternoon drive up to Sigiriya (The approximately estimated road distance is 95miles – transfer time 5 hours), in the heart of the Cultural Triangle, an area in the beautiful central dry-lands that has a rich and ancient history
Early morning visit Sigiriya, the Rock Fortress a UNESCO World Heritage site built by King Kassapa in the 05th century A.D. which was a Royal Citadel for more than 18 years. It is Sri Lanka's most recognizable landmark and has been declared a World Heritage Site.
Afternoon visits the Kaudulla National Park, which is known as the largest herd of Asian elephants that gather at any one time.
After breakfast leave for Kitulgala a riverside town surrounded by lush jungle. Enjoy a high adrenaline pumping “White Water Rafting” in Kelani River, one of the longest rivers in Sri Lanka, which is a graded 2-3 rapid. You could experience the fascinating view of the surrounding forest while rafting and when you are in the calm waters you could let yourself float while enjoying the scenic beauty. End the rafting and have a river bath.
After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya; a hill-country retreat much loved by Britain’s early-day settlers and tea planters, who enjoyed its rolling hills conifer forests, and cool climate. Visit a typical Sri Lankan tea plantation and a working tea factory and also experience a self-tea plucking session.
Early Morning visit Hortan Plains which is located 28km away from Nuwara Eliya town. Many visitors come to see “World’s End” situated on the plains. The scenery that can be seen from here is considered to be the finest view in Sri Lanka.
Morning proceed to Ella, Lots of people make Ella one of their must-visit destinations just to witness the breathtaking views it creates. It is a dream place for many trekkers with some of the best hikes the Island provides. Ella has its own historical values with the link to the Legendary Ravana stories too. Morning Depart from Ella to Yala for an evening Safari at Yala National Park. It is one of the most popular and renowned wildlife destinations in Sri Lanka. It's located in the southeastern part of the country and is known for its diverse range of wildlife, including leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
After breakfast drive up to Galle. Explore Galle's historic fort, a UNESCO gem, with cobbled streets, boutiques, and cafes. Visit the Maritime Museum and Galle Lighthouse for ocean views.
