Taste Test 3 of the best lobster rolls in downtown Bar Harbor while you learn from a local guide how the lobster became Maine’s most important industry and a symbol of status for the wealthy visitors. Each stop will showcase a different spin on the classic summertime staple. Please note this tour is not suitable for anyone with shellfish allergies. End the tour in Grant Park where you can watch fishermen at work most summer days. The restaurants may change depending on availability and ongoing customer reviews. Only tried and tested spots will be included.

Meeting and pickup
Tour will meet in Village Green park near the fire station at the Fisherman's Fountain. Tour guide will be wearing logo shirt.

Our tour will start in the park where guests will meet their guide and learn about the significance of Maine and discuss the three different places we will visit.

Our first spot will visit a downtown spot where each guest will get to try half of a selected roll.

Check out the boats between Bar Island and Bar Harbor while your guide teaches you about how lobsters get from the bottom of the ocean to our plate. Please note we do not visit the island.

Before heading to the shore, we will have our second tasting.
