    The waterfall of Kakunje is located in the village of Kakunjë. The waterfall is always full of water. This tour will take us to Kakunja Waterfall found nearby Kakunja village in the vicinities of Tirana, by Baldushk village. Our hike starts from 'Fshati i Ri' - Kakunja (New Village) and continues on to the Old Kakunje. We will visit here the ruins of Shen Marie church. This trail will take us across areas with typical old homes now abandoned and beautiful natural settings until we reach the waterfall.

This fact is confirmed by the evidence found in the early settlements of the village on the top of a hill, as well as the village's olive grove, which is said to be over 500 years old. The old Kakunja is abandoned and the inhabitants have all moved down to the new Kakunja, which is located below.
