Day 1 Arrive in Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park

Today we receive and welcome you at Arusha-Kilimanjaro International Airport. After being greeted, we set off on well-maintained roads for your first safari experience on a half-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park
After you have slept in and had breakfast, we will be in the bush all day today. Expect herds of buffalo, elephant, gazelle, impala, giraffe, lion, leopard, zebra and wildebeest. With a bit of luck, well-camouflaged leopards can be seen, cheetahs are rarely sighted. In the shade of expansive acacia trees you can enjoy your packed lunch with a picnic. In the late afternoon we return to Tarangire Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight. A safari experience of a special kind is a game drive in the dark. In the dark, lions and leopards go hunting. Now servals, porcupines and honey badgers are leaving their daytime hiding places. The beam of light from your safari vehicle then illuminates the stage for the hunters and the hunted.

Day 3
from Tarangire National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Central Serengeti. Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today we leave Tarangire National Park early and make our way to the “8. Wonder of the World” or the largest zoo in the world. On our half day game drive at the bottom of the crater you may notice that there are no giraffes there. With a bit of luck, you will have the opportunity to take photos of the now rare black rhinos. After our stopover in the crater, we continue our journey into the Central Serenegeti and reach your accommodation for the next 2 nights in the evening. Planned accommodation: Seronera. Day 4
Full day game drive in the Central Serengeti in search of the "Big Five"

Board your safari vehicle early in the morning. Over the next few days you will enjoy the magic of the Serengeti with its unique landscape and the unbelievable variety of African wild animals from a close-up that you will not find in any zoo. Days when you will definitely be on the lookout for the "Big Five". You can even do it from the air with a hot air balloon flight. After experiencing a sunrise at dizzy heights that you will only find in the Serengeti. Witness when, from May to December, millions of herd animals such as wildebeest and zebra embark on a migration that takes them from the central Serengeti to Kenya's Masai Mara and back in an incredible spectacle. Today we make our way to the North Serengeti to witness an unforgettable spectacle of the “Great Migration”. Every year from August to November about 1.2 million wildebeest and 750,000 zebra gather on the banks of the Mara River to embark on an 800 km journey. Despite the crocodiles lurking there, it's the bravest of the animals that jump into the river first. An incomparable sight and sure to be a highlight of your safari to see when the huge herd throws themselves into the river. Serengeti - Mara River

Today we make our way to the North Serengeti to witness an unforgettable spectacle of the “Great Migration”. Lake Natron

After a late breakfast, we bid farewell to the Serengeti and set out for images and colors unique to Tanzania. Our goal is Lake Natron and the still active volcano Ol Donyo Lengai, which we reach after a 4-hour drive through the Tanzanian savannah landscape. In the afternoon of the 7th day of safari we will take a walking excursion to the refreshing Ngare Sero waterfall and have the opportunity to visit a Massaí boma. The next morning you will have the opportunity to observe the flamingos living at the lake before we leave for our next destination, Manyara National Park. Overnight at Lake Natron at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

Lake Manyara National Park
Yesterday you arrived in Mto wa Mbu on Lake Manyara and stayed at the Heart & Soul Lodge. Our final safari destination today is a full day game drive in Manyara National Park. A special attraction of the park are tree-climbing lions; a unique phenomenon that can only be observed here. You will find that wildlife is less present in the park than in parks like the Serengeti. Here your ability to observe, seek and find is in demand. With a little spirit of discovery you can spot the animals of the park in the green of the forests. Pure green nature with many ancient baobab trees and the largest bird nests in the world built by small hammerhead birds. Arusha - end of safari

Your accommodation is close to the city center, which you can walk to in a few minutes. Before your safari guide takes you to Zanzibar in time for your flight home or onward flight, you can use the day to stock up on souvenirs and souvenirs, or simply indulge in the memories of unforgettable days over a coffee.
