Your native English-speaking guide will give you all the information you need while traveling between stops, then you'll be free to explore at your own pace, and you'll never feel rushed!

You'll see some major historical and cultural attractions around Mount Fuji, there'll be plenty of photo opportunities.

You'll see a view of Fuji over Lake Kawaguchi, visit a small village with deep spring water wells, pray at a shrine surrounded by a beautiful forest and 1,000-year-old trees, and try the local specialty foods.

We will pick up from any hotel or accommodation in the Tokyo 23 wards, plus Tokyo cruise terminal or Haneda airport. Yokohama cruise terminal and Narita airport incur a 15,000yen surcharge payable on the day, please let us know in the "special requirements" field. The driver will let you know before they arrive where to find them (usually at the taxi stand) with a description of the vehicle, at many hotels it isn't possible to leave the vehicle unattended so we ask that you come outside.

    Lake Kawaguchiko

    Hopefully this is where you can get the iconic view of Mount Fuji across the lake, depending on the conditions we'll adjust the timing to maximise possibility for a clear view.

    Oshino Hakkai

    A lovely little village with thatch roofed buildings and 8 pure springs from the snow cap of Fuji itself. Try some local snacks or grab a souvenir on the walk to the ponds.

    Due to the fact rice is difficult to grow in the area, houtou noodles is the specialty dish, thick hand cut noodles in a miso broth, of course there are various options as well as a variety of snack foods at most stops

    Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba

    Another lovely village of traditional thatched-roof houses situated on the shore of Lake Saiko, beneath the gaze of World Heritage-listed Mt. Fuji. Each little building houses a museum, gift shop, cafe or restaurant.

    Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine

    A shrine dedicated to worshipping Mount Fuji, it's surrounded be a cedar forest with some trees thought to be over 1,000 years old! This is where people used to start their climb of Fuji after paying respects. The main hall was built in 1615 and the Torii gate is epic.
