Experience a Milford Sound cruise and Milford Track hike in one incredible day with return coach transfers from Te Anau included. Cruise the fiord getting close to thundering waterfalls while spotting seals and dolphins, and our expert crew share stories about this geological wonder. After your cruise, transfer to the water taxi for a 10-minute boat ride to the Milford Track. Explore the track at your own pace (approx. 11km return), listening for native birds and walking in ancient beech forest before arriving at Giant Gates Falls. Our multi-lingual app provides information as you walk. All transfers are coordinated so you can experience two of New Zealand's most famous attractions in one day, plus enjoy the spectacle of the Milford road without having to drive yourself.

Please make your way to the DOC Fiordland National Park Visitor Centre (1 Lakefront Drive, Te Anau 9640), where you will be collected by your Great Walks Bus. The Great Walks driver will have the lead travellers name on their manifest. Please be ready 10 minutes before.

    Drive on the scenic Milford Sound Road. The driver will provide scenic photo stops along the way

    Mirror Lakes Walk

    Stop at the Mirror Lakes for a short five minute walk. (time dependant)

    Here you will join your nature cruise of up to 2 hours

    After you cruise you will be transferred by your Great Walks bus from the cruise terminal to Deepwater basin to meet your water taxi to the start of the Milford Track walk

    Disembark the water taxi at Sandfly Point and walk on the famous Milford Track to Giant Gate falls. This is approximately 11km and you will have 3 - 4 hours to enjoy this walk.

    At the conclusion of your walk you will take the water taxi back to Deepwater basin where your Great Walks Bus driver will meet you and drive you back to Te Anau
