Retrace the glorious past of Ancient Rome by visiting the monumental Colosseum and stepping into its arena during this private tour with a local expert guide. Entering the reconstructed arena floor through the 'Death Gate', you'll travel back in time and envision an authentic gladiator experience. Your guide will be happy to tell you plenty of curiosities about the Colosseum's history, anecdotes about the most important gladiators, and myths surrounding the renowned amphitheater.
Your tour will begin in the archaeological area, where you'll have the chance to see and take photos of important sites such as the Arch of Constantine, built to commemorate ten years of the emperor's reign, Palatine Hill, the most ancient part of the city, and, of course, the Colosseum.
