This half-day experience combines responsible elephant observation, nature, local conservation, and Thai culture in one meaningful Khao Lak tour.
At Khao Lak Elephant Sanctuary, guests learn about elephant care, daily routines, and natural behaviour in a calm, animal-welfare-focused setting. The experience also includes a vitamin ball preparation activity guided by the sanctuary team.
What makes this tour special is the variety of meaningful nature experiences in one well-rounded half-day program: elephants, Sai Rung Waterfall, the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, and a Thai set lunch.
At Sai Rung Waterfall, guests can enjoy the jungle surroundings, take photos, and swim if weather, water level, and local conditions allow. The turtle conservation visit adds an educational look at local wildlife protection and rehabilitation efforts.
There is no elephant riding, no shows, no tricks, no forced bathing, and no activities that disturb the elephants.

Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from selected hotels and locations in the Khao Lak area. Please provide your hotel name or pickup location during the booking process.
Please be ready at your hotel lobby or confirmed pickup point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late or after the driver has already left your pickup location, you may be considered a no-show and the booking will not be eligible for a refund.

1Khaolak Ethical Elephant Sanctuary (KES)
Embark on a 1-hour educational experience where you’ll learn about rescued elephants and the dedicated hill tribe caretakers who support them. Discover how the sanctuary provides lifelong care for elephants retired from tourism and gain insight into the meaningful bond between each mahout and their elephant.

You can also relax and spending time in the small river which is from the main Sai Rung waterfall or option to visit Sai Rung waterfall that another 2 kms. away from sanctuary.

3Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center Phang Nga
Next, visit the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, where young and injured turtles are cared for before release into the ocean. Discover the life cycle of sea turtles and the ongoing efforts to protect them.

4Khaolak Waterside Tubing & ATV Park
