Sidonies Fine Porcelain and Crystal Care Workshop in Budapest

2 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

There are many mysterious concepts in the world of fine porcelain and lead crystal. I'll help you decipher some of them and what they cover such as: painted under glaze, painted over glaze, matted, hand painted, polished, engraved.... and whatever else you're curious about.
What are the characteristics of Meissen, Herendi, Wedgewood, Zsolnay, Hermes porcelain? How can you recognise them from a distance?
Baccarat, St Louis, Wedgewood, Ajka, Varga Art ... what makes a few grams of leaded glass precious?
What is the dishwasher mist that appears on crystal glasses after washing and how can it be removed?
Is it true that with a foam spray you can wash a whole lead crystal chandelier?
I look forward to answering these and similar questions, which I can show you in my gallery, where I have several illustrative tools.
