They may see rice fields, local houses, small markets, lotus fields, water buffalo, and everyday village life. The guide can stop for photos when safe and explain more about rural life in Cambodia.

Depending on the season, visitors will see traditional stilted houses rising high above the water or standing over dry land during the low-water season. 1Tonle Sap Lake
Travelers will continue by boat onto Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and an important source of food and income for many Cambodian families. During the boat ride, guests can enjoy wide lake views, floating homes, fishing boats, local markets on the water, and daily life along the lake. The guide will share information about the lake’s seasonal changes and why Tonle Sap is so important for Cambodia.

Local Floating Restaurant / Lake View Stop Travelers will have time to relax at a local floating restaurant or lake-view stop, depending on the season and water conditions. Guests can enjoy the atmosphere of Tonle Sap Lake, take photos, buy a drink or snack, and watch boats, fishermen, and local families moving across the water. This is a good moment to slow down and enjoy the scenery before returning to Siem Reap. The admission fee for the boat tour on Tonle Sap Lake is not included in the tour price. Travelers need to pay this fee directly on-site. It is not an optional extra, but a required fee that is paid locally.
