Dublin Jewellery Forge your own silver Claddagh Ring Workshop

You will learn the basics of goldsmithing, this includes marking with a scribe and pierce your strip of silver with a jewelers saw. Learn how to form a ring using pliers and a ring mandrel. You will watch it being soldered whilst being explained the process by your teacher. How to file the ring using different size hand files and how to texture the ring using a planishing hammer- if you wish. You will watch it being polished on a polishing motor to your chosen finish – matt or shiny!

- Children Under 16 need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Please note we have a second location. From time to time we will contact you to change the location of your booking. This will be done ahead of time.
- Please note we are located in 2 beautiful, old period buildings with plenty of stairs and no access to a lift.
