We set you up for a great ride with E-Bike instructions and a trail safety briefing before you begin the trail.
Better By Bike is a well-established bike tour operator with over 12 years experience operating in Queenstown, New Zealand. We are located at the start of the Rail Trail at the Murwillumbah Railway Station. Only 40mins drive from Byron Bay and the Gold Coast.
The trail is suited for all ages and abilities, we offer tag-along bikes and chariots or baby seats so families can also enjoy the trail ride together!
The E-Bikes we provide are powered by Bosch to go the distance making the ride as comfortable and relaxing as possible. If you decide to ride one way only we can collect you with our shuttle bus, for a small fee. Our priority is that you enjoy your day, let us take care of the details.

Meeting and pickup
Meet at our shop located at the Murwillumbah Railway Station, the start of the Rail Trail. We can also meet you at Mooball if preferred, simply let us know when booking.

Jump on an e-bike and explore one of Australia's award-winning rail trails at your own pace. This easy 48km return ride takes you from Murwillumbah to Crabbes Creek through lush hinterland and rainforests. Glide through the historic Burringbar Range tunnel, sample gelato, grab lunch at a cozy café or pub, feed friendly animals along the way, and browse local shops. It's the perfect day out for nature lovers and leisurely explorers alike!
