The park consists of 16 named lakes and many smaller, unnamed lakes, all connected through a travertine barrier system, designed exclusively by nature. The protected trails are built around the lakes and educational boards are placed next to important sites.

1Plitvice Lakes National Park
The drive to Plitvice lakes takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes starting from Zadar. After arrival, we will find a parking spot and enter the park. The walk through the park takes about 2.5 to 3 hours and includes stunning views. The park is protected under UNESCO and includes pristine nature, beautiful sightseeing and a bit of walking. Your driver will be a licensed tourist guide as well so he can tell you a lot about the place, history and nature in the park.
