Discover the Oregon Coast at its very best. This is the only day tour from Portland that goes all the way to the Whale Watching Capital of Oregon Depoe Bay in addition to the must see Cannon Beach, Haystack Rock, Oswald West, Short Sands Beach, Neahkahnie Viewpoint, and Tillamook Creamery.
Join us for a special kind of joy you can only get on the Oregon Coast.
Please meet our guide at the front of the Museum, we will be in a white bus.
For the first leg of our tour we will wind through the quiet serenity of the Tillamook State Forest on our way to Cannon Beach
Stop for a coffee and a light snack, followed by a short walk to Haystack rock.
Continue along Highway 101 to the rainforest trails of Oswald West State Park, where we will (weather permitting) take a short walk through old growth forests to Short Sands beach, a popular inlet for both surfers and beach combers alike.
We will pass the breathtaking Neahkahnie Overlook, which even on cloudy days offers beautiful views of the pacific, high above the coast.
After passing Neahkani overlook we will follow the historic Highway 101 through some quintessential Oregon beach towns, such as Wheeler, Rockaway Beach, Garibaldi and Bay city as we travel alongside Tillamook Bay.
Our Lunch stop is at the iconic Tillamook Creamery, where you’ll sample Oregon-made cheese, enjoy a meal, and watch ice cream made before your eyes.
We will be passing through one of the cutest little towns (Lincoln City) as we make our way to Depoe Bay
The journey continues south to Depoe Bay, home to resident gray whales, dramatic harbor views, and the Oregon Parks Whale Watching Center.
