  Once you arrive at the meeting point, at the Bus Terminal of Bari Central Station (Via Giuseppe Capruzzi area), our staff will welcome you for a quick and stress-free check-in. We will leave Bari to enter the heart of the Apulian hinterland, heading towards Altamura, which we will reach in about 40 minutes, crossing authentic landscapes, among expanses of fields, ancient farms and scenery that tell the true soul of Puglia.

  Altamura

  Once you arrive in Altamura, you will have about 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time to discover this fascinating city, famous for its DOP bread and its authentic old town. For those who want a more in-depth experience, you can join an optional guided tour, accompanied by a Pro Local Guide, to discover the city and the ancient traditional ovens. Those who prefer to visit Altamura independently, will be accompanied by our staff to some of the most representative points, such as the historic bakeries of Santa Caterina and Santa Chiara and the picturesque Cathedral of Altamura. During your free time, you can observe local traditions up close, buy or taste typical products and stroll through the authentic alleys of the city. At the end of the visit, you will meet with our staff at the established point to continue together the journey to the next stage.

  Once back at the bus and boarded again, we will start the journey to Matera. In about 30 minutes, we will cross the border between Puglia and Basilicata, entering an even more authentic and suggestive territory, where the landscape changes and becomes more and more fascinating.   Matera is the moment when you stop looking and start to be speechless. Once you arrive, you will find yourself in front of one of the most extraordinary places in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and among the oldest cities ever inhabited. You will have about 3 hours and 30 minutes to live this unique experience. The famous Sassi, with houses carved into the rock, create an incredible, almost unreal landscape, also chosen as the setting for international films such as The Passion of the Christ and James Bond 007. You can choose an optional guided tour with an expert Guide or explore on your own through alleys, caves, panoramic terraces and breathtaking views. Every corner tells a story, every step is an emotion. Among spectacular photos, rock churches and unique atmospheres, Matera is not visited... You live. At the end, return to the bus with our staff.
