  Itmad-ud-Daula

  The "Baby Taj," officially known as the Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, is a historical monument in Agra, India. This mausoleum, often considered a draft for the iconic Taj Mahal, was constructed in the 17th century during the Mughal era. It is a fine example of Mughal architecture, featuring intricate marble inlay work and delicate floral patterns. The tomb houses the remains of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, a Persian noble and grandfather of Mumtaz Mahal, whose tomb also inspired the Taj Mahal.
