You will be accompanied by a local guide, Justine Poncet, who knows the region well and will be able to talk to you all along the way about the history, estates, wines and secrets of the Rhone Valley.
You will make stops to enjoy the magnificent views from the coasts!
You will discover the Syrah and Viognier grape variety as well as Marsanne and Roussanne, the emblematic varieties of the region.
You will enjoy exceptional white wines and red wines.
You will discover the most prestigious wines of the Rhone Valley such as AOP Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph or Condrieu.
We drive you in our luxury vehicle and everything is planned so that you just go and enjoy your day with us.

Right next to the "Café Bellecour". When you are facing the cafe, the statue is on the left in the middle of the trees. The meeting point is at the foot of the Statue of Saint Exupéry 10 minutes before departure (not the one in the center of Place Bellecour).
You will pass through several villages DE the Rhone Valley EN route. We will stop in the day (morning or afternoon) to admire the vines planted in the steep slopes. You will learn about the methods DE viticulture in the region and the work done throughout the year by winegrowers.
We will make our first stop near the village of Chavanay or Ampuis for a first tasting in a wine estate. Tasting between 4 and 6 wines. Learn about winemaking and aging wines in the region.
We will then go further south, towards the village of Tain l'Hermitage. Along the way, enjoy the scenery and the view of these steep hillsides!
Lunch at Tain l'hermitage. Price of lunch not included in the price but restaurant reservation made for all participants - local restaurant with daily menu from €25/pers.
Tastings in 2 different wineries near DE Tain l'Hermitage (sometimes we can do 2 wineries in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, EN depending DE availability). EN Learn more about winemaking and cellar work. You can compare the wines tasted in the morning with those DE the afternoon.
Return to Lyon Return time depends on traffic. We will be in Lyon between 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. maximum.
