Domaine Guigal was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, a small ancient village and cradle of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. It is home to a unique vineyard where vines and wine have been celebrated for 2400 years.
I am Justine PONCET, founder of SUR LES SENTIERS DE L'OENOTOURISME. I am your guide, I know the area and Guigal area well.
I take you through the vineyards of Côte-Rôtie, where the best vintages are produced. You will learn about the vine cycle and enjoy the breathtaking views.
You will have the opportunity to visit the Guigal Family Cellar, an exceptional cellar, probably the largest in the region.
We will conclude this experience with a tasting of the wines of the Family! As an added bonus, you will have the opportunity to discover the Château Cave Museum, a remarkable collection of winemaking objects and ancient treasures.

From Lyon, we go to Ampuis. We will stop to admire the vines planted in the very steep slopes. The prestigious vineyards of the AOP Côte-Rôtie. Explanation of the vine cycle throughout the year.

After the visit of the vine, we will go to the E.GUIGAL cellar for a unique visit of their cellar. An unforgettable moment in the largest cellars of the region. Learn the steps of winemaking and maturing.
