The Star Bowl in Kaunertal is one of the most beautiful places in Europe to experience the natural night - with millions of stars. The listening experience makes lying in the shell an unforgettable experience. Let your gaze guide you - simply play it on your smartphone. You've never looked so deeply into the stars before.

The activity is ideal for you if you don't want to go on a star tour but still want to sink into the cosmos as a couple.

The eye needs 30 minutes to adapt to the darkness. You can experience this process live and get a deep and colorful perception of the sky.

What to expect

You lie wrapped up warm in the star bowl and listen to the listening experience under the starry sky. After 20 minutes there is the wow effect: many more stars and a sensational impression of the sky. The listening experience lasts just under half an hour. You should plan around an hour for the on-site activity including preparation and follow-up. Additionally, the hike to the star bowl, or to the next remote place that offers a clear view of the horizon.

Attention: not a guided tour! - Independent arrival and departure at dusk and at night. Be sure to take warm clothes with you for the activity, even in summer.
