As a volunteer, you can work as a keeper to make food for them and and Observing the keepers feeding the pandas up close. It is a good chance for you to observe their living habits and physical features. Besides giant pandas, you can also see red pandas and many other cute animals here.

We will wait for you in the hotel lobby, holding a piece of paper with your name on it.

What to expect

As the maximum number of volunteers is only 60, It's better to book the ticket in advance.
Your guide and driver will pick you up at about7:00-- 7:30 and escort you to the panda base(around 1.5 hours). After arrival, sigh up and put on work clothes and gloves. The experienced keepers will tell you what to do, and your tour guide will be always by your side.
9:00 am: Preparation
10:00 am: Observing the keeper feeding the panda up close.

11:30 am: Visit other enclosures
Roam around the base and take a visit to have a look of more giant pandas and red pandas.
Make panda cakes
12:30 Have a lunch break
13:30pm: Watch panda documentary movie
14:00pm: Get a certificate
After a whole day’s work, you will receive a certificate for the unforgettable day. Then, your guide and driver will escort you back to Chengdu.
Volunteers must be between 8 and 70 years old.
Note: For urgent bookings for the following day, please ensure your reservation is made by 6:00 PM. This allows us to apply for and confirm the volunteer activity with the Panda Base during their working hours. Reservations made after this time cannot guarantee a secured spot. We appreciate your understanding.
