1Dujiangyan Panda Base
In the morning, your guide will greet you in the lobby of your hotel. You will then enjoy a comfortable private transfer to the Dujiangyan Panda Base, with a journey of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Compared to the more crowded Chengdu Panda Base, Dujiangyan offers a quieter and more intimate environment, allowing you to observe the giant pandas at a closer distance and at a more relaxed pace. The base opens at 8:30 AM, and arriving early ensures the best opportunity to see the pandas during their most active time of the day, especially during feeding hours. For those seeking a deeper connection, an optional panda volunteer program is available. This unique experience offers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into panda conservation work, where you may assist staff with simple tasks and learn more about the daily care of these iconic animals. Around 11:00 AM, you will depart the panda base and be transferred back to your hotel or your next destination.
