This is a private tour and you will be picked up at your hotel or at the airport. You will drive safely and comfortable in a luxury car or van to the Rhine Falls. First we will walk by the medieval castle of Laufen then take the glass elevator down the Rhine Falls (Rheinfall) the largest waterfall in Europe. You will attend an organized 15 minutes boat trip close to the waterfall. The tour is guided by experienced boatmen who will take you safely and as close as possible to the mighty waters of the Rhine Falls. Your personal tour guide will assist you with any questions and explain you a lot about the water falls. After that exciting boat ride we will continue to Stein am Rhein, a wonderful medieval town. It is known for its well-preserved medieval half-timbered houses with painted facades, which can be found around the town hall square in the old town. We will also visit the Monastery and the castle just on a hillside above the town overviewing the beautiful region.

    We will pick you up at your hotel or apartment and drive you in a modern airconditioned car or minivan (vehicle depending on the number of guests) to the Rhine Falls. The driving time is about 45-60 minutes.

    After about 1 hour drive you will reach the highlight of this day, the magnificent medieval Laufen Castle overlooking the Rhine Falls. Today the castle serves as a tourist attraction and contains a restaurant. From the castle, a footpath leads you to several viewpoints near the Rhine Falls.     Rhine Falls

    Explore Europe's largest waterfall and one of the most important tourist attractions in Switzerland! Enjoy the unique view from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700000 liters of water per second plunge over a width of 150 meters into the basin below. The Belvedere Panorama Trail takes you to the viewing platform directly above the falls, where you can feel the spray of the roaring water. Take time to admire the panoramic view from the glass elevator or hike to the viewpoints above and around the falls to marvel at the roar and power of the falls.     Now board the boat that will take you to the other side of the shore. From Wörth Castle you have a 15 minute boat trip very close to the waterfall. (April - October only, included in the price) The tour is guided by experienced boatmen who will take you safely and as close as possible to the Rhine Falls.

    After the exciting boat ride we will continue to the medieval town Stein am Rhein. The driving time is about 30 minutes. Stein am Rhein is a small town to the west of Lake Constance in north-eastern Switzerland. You will enjoy a guide walk. It is known for its well-preserved medieval half-timbered houses with painted facades, which can be found around the town hall square in the old town. After walking through the beautiful town, we reach the St. Georgen monastery on the banks of the Rhine, a former Benedictine abbey with a museum.
