Start at Lipica, home of the Lipizzaner horses since 1580. Visit the stables, walk among the white horses and, in season, watch them train or perform. Add a carriage ride or a relaxed lunch on the estate.
Then descend into the Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site where the Reka river rushes through one of the largest underground canyons on earth. The guided walk takes about two hours, with plenty of steps, and crosses a bridge 45 metres above the river. Bring a jacket: it stays around 12°C down there all year.
End at Predjama Castle, the world’s largest cave castle, wedged into the mouth of a cave halfway up a sheer cliff. Hear how the rebel knight Erazem held out here through a year-long siege, and the secret that kept him going.

The first stop of your private tour is the historic Lipica Stud Farm, the birthplace of the world-famous Lipizzaner horses - it offers a unique glimpse into over 400 years of equestrian tradition. You will be able to stroll through the elegant tree-lined avenues, visit the stables, and learn about the rich heritage of these graceful white horses. Depending on the day of thw week, you may also witness a captivating performance by the Lipizzaners, showcasing their classical dressage skills. You’ll also have enough time here to enjoy a relaxing horse carriage ride, play a round of mini golf, or savor a leisurely lunch surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the estate.

2Skocjanske Jame
The second stop of the private tour takes you to the awe-inspiring Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Slovenia’s most remarkable natural wonders. 3Predjama Castle
The final stop on our way back is the dramatic Predjama Castle, perched high on a cliffside and partially built into a gaping cave. We will share the fascinating story of Erazem of Predjama, the rebellious knight who once used the cave system behind the castle to withstand a siege for over a year.
