2Lake Bohinj
Leaving Bled behind, the journey continues deeper into the Alps to Lake Bohinj, a pristine glacial lake set within Triglav National Park. This area offers a quieter, more natural contrast to Bled and is a highlight for families who enjoy open landscapes and fresh mountain air. The main experience here is the Vogel cable car (funicular), taking you high above the valley for unforgettable views over the Julian Alps — a favorite for both children and adults. If weather conditions are not suitable, the itinerary seamlessly adapts to include a visit to Savica Waterfall, one of Slovenia’s most famous natural landmarks.
