This tour is stands out because it captures the best of Bagamoyo District, the only district in the Pwani region that meets the majestic Indian Ocean. An overnight stay in Bagamoyo allows you to thoroughly explore the history, architecture, and heritage of this ancient town, the first trade hub on the East African coast.

Additionally, spending two nights in Saadani gives you the best opportunity to explore this extraordinary national park, the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania that borders the sea. Here, you'll encounter a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, sable antelopes, and birds like the African hornbill.

The tour also includes a chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of marine and riverine birds, such as the mangrove kingfisher and lesser flamingo, along the Wami River. The beaches in Saadani are among the last major green turtle breeding sites on mainland Tanzania, adding to the uniqueness of this experience
