    As you travel, you'll pass through Morogoro region, about 200 km from Dar es Salaam, home to Mikumi National Park. You'll catch sight of the impressive Uluguru Mountains, an eastern Tanzanian mountain range, named after the Luguru tribe. These peaks reach up to 8630 ft (2630m) above sea level.

    Mikumi National Park, founded in 1964, sprawls across 3,230 square kilometers, nestled amidst the picturesque Uluguru, Udzungwa, and Malundwe mountains. This park is a wildlife enthusiast's paradise, boasting diverse ecosystems and a rich array of animals, including the renowned tree-climbing lions and over 400 bird species. Your adventure begins with a 4:00 am departure from your hotel, and during the scenic drive, your expert guide will regale you with tales of the local culture and surroundings. Upon arrival, a full-day game drive awaits, offering you the chance to encounter a multitude of wildlife, from majestic elephants and buffaloes to graceful zebras, and elusive leopards. A well-deserved lunch break is included, and the safari continues until 3:00 pm, as the day's adventure comes to a close.
